Background

Dr. Varella is a strategy and organizational behaviour professor at the Bissett School of Business at Mount Royal College. Paul received his MBA (finance) and his Ph.D. (strategy and global management) from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary. Paul’s research interest focuses on organizational social capital, networks and leadership, particularly at strategic levels. Dr. Varella brings extensive experience to research methodology and empirical analysis to Connect Strategy.
